* The Fin Guy is a one man shop and all the items that are listed in this site are made by Me and made here in the U.S.A. I started out making replacement wood fins for shops that were restoring old boards. Then came the need to make nose and tail blocks for restored boards. After that came board racks to hang the restored boards, to show them off. I had the privilege to copy a Blake board and started making Vintage reproduction boards. I also added to my producrt line Model Surfboards and surfboard furniture. * I am a woodworker and my desire is to build wooden items to the best quality possible, My wooden surfboards have style, beauty and authenticity of wooden surfboards of years gone by. I use the same materials of that time. My boards are made out of high quality woods, not plastic, partical board or plywood. Each board I hand select the lumber for color and grain pattern and each board uses about a hundred of board feet of lumber and many hours to build so they are costly. However they are a beautiful piece of workmanship and many consider them as a work of art. * Other sites do sell boards that are made out of plywood or partical board, some made in the U.S.A. , but the majority of them are made overseas. They may look like surfboards but they are not a surfboard and are not art. * You know what you are looking to put on your wall, I know how build it.
